Civil War Soldier's GhostRate this encounter: Krissy L., Gonzales, Louisiana, March 15, 2008My boyfriend and I were at his house one night, waiting for his parents to get home, when one of the scariest things I've ever experienced happened. We were sitting on his back patio talking when I noticed someone walking down his hall. I asked him if anyone else was there, but he said no. Both of his parents were working. The hair on the back of my neck stood up and I got chills, but I just had to know who was in the house. So I went inside, my boyfriend following me, and I saw a man of about medium height walking into the computer room. He was wearing a soldier's uniform from the Civil War era, which really got my attention. The thing that bothered me most was that my boyfriend didn't see him at all. The next day I did research on the place where he lived and found out that there had been a camp on his property where a dozen or so soldiers had died. Could it be that this soldier still thought he was alive, and that his camp was still there? I've seen him again, twice, but no one else has, although my boyfriend's mom says she doesn't like to go into the computer room alone because she can feel a presence there.
