The Smell of the Devil?Rate this encounter: Caren, Mission, Texas, March 29, 2006Last night I woke up around 3:00 to go the bathroom. As I walked out of my bedroom, I started to smell something that seemed like pesticide. I figured that either my mother or one of my brothers had fumigated or something. Well, when I woke up in the morning the smell was gone. I asked my mother about the smell and she said that she hadn't smelled or done anything -- my brothers said the same. I was mentioning this to a friend and she said that the smell could of been of the devil. I was surprised when she said that because to me that sounded strange and I had never heard of anything like that. I do experience things like what they call "Old Hag Syndrome" or "Sleep Paralysis," but this is strange. Is there anyone that can tell me a little more about this or if there's any truth to it being the devil?
