Nana's WarningRate this encounter: Amber, Melbourne, Australia, September 1990My nana died in June of 1990. Three months later on Father's Day, my older sister had to take back some library books at her Uni and I was complaining that I was bored so she asked me if I wanted to come for a drive. Of course I replied, "Yes." She quickly went to her room to get the books and as soon as she left the room I felt a huge weight all over my body and I couldn't move nor could I speak. I had my mum sitting next to me knitting and I tried screaming out to her but nothing was coming out. Then I heard a voice that sounded extremely familiar whisper in my ear saying, "Please don't go. You really don't want to go." My sister then entered the room saying, "Well, are you coming or not?" Then the huge weight that I was experiencing slowly lifted off and I was able to say, "No, I don't want to go." After she left, I ran straight into my bedroom, closed the door, jumped on my bed and hugged my knees under my chin. I was petrified. An hour later our phone rang, it was my sister saying that she had been in a serious car accident and that she was ok apart from some cuts and bruises and that the tow truck is bringing the car home. Some time later the tow truck arrived with her car. I looked out the window and noticed that the whole passenger side had literally disappeared. I don't think I would be here today if I didn't have that familiar voice whisper in my ear, "Please don't go, you really don't want to go." Thanks, Nana.
