May 9, 2011 The Glowing EntityRate this encounter: Anonymous -- New Port Richey, Florida -- March, 2011My encounter is similar in some ways to other glowing entity posts discussed in this section. Here is my experience: I was sleeping on my couch and woke up to see a glowing white entity no more than 6 feet away. I could make out facial features, and it definitely looked male. He was across from me with his arms folded on top of the chair where he was sitting. It appeared that he was casually facing towards my TV, which was off at the time. This is the best way to describe him -- he had what looked like long hair, but it was hanging loose. The hair was extended straight out as if wind was blowing. However, the hair wasn't moving! He was wearing what looked like long pants. Again, the apparition was was bathed in white luminous glow. As people have pointed out in other similar posts, this experience was not frightening. It lasted for approximately 8 to 10 seconds. I rubbed my eyes to get a better look. When I opened them, he was gone. This did not didn't appear to be malevolent. It was like something was just casually sitting there while looking straight ahead.
