Home Alone

Late one night, I was watching TV when I fell asleep on the couch. I was awakened by what felt like a tug on my hair. I sat up and looked around for my little brother, but no one was there.

I went into the kitchen. There is a door there that opens to the basement, which I think is the most haunted spot in my house.

When I got into the kitchen, the basement door was closed. I got a drink of water when I noticed the door was suddenly open!

It had been locked, so I know the wind couldn't have unfastened the door. Plus, this is one of those doors that need a lot of force to close.

I looked down the stairs, but there was nothing there. Then, as I walked away from it, the door closed shut! I yelled out at my mom, asking if they were trying to scare me. I found out that everyone was at Wal-mart.

I'll never forget that day...
