April 13, 2011 Weirded Out in San FranciscoRate this encounter: UCghetto3 -- San Francisco, California -- April 5, 2011So I want to start off by saying that I am officially weirded out. I don't believe in ghosts, but over the past month, everyone has moved out of the house except for me and one other roommate. A few months ago, I started hearing footsteps go up and down the stairs in the house, but I figured it was just one of the five other roommates living there at the time, or a dog or cat. I would also hear these footsteps on the apartment stairs and in the living room. When I would go check, there was no one in the house. The feeling of the house has completely changed to the point that it is uncomfortable. I never brought it up until yesterday when I was home alone and I heard the foot steps twice. The first time I let it go, but the second time I went to go look and nothing was in the house. I called my roommate later and we talked about how weird things have been lately, and he said that has happened to him 5 or 6 times now. I have also noticed a weird smell coming from my bedroom wall that is directly under the stairs. And I have started to have nightmares fairly frequently, and that is not a normal thing. Apparently, after talking with my roommate, he told me that on New Year's, a friend was in the living room and couldn't sleep. When he looked, he saw something walking up and down the stairs. So once again, I don't believe in the whole ghost thing but things are getting weird. Either way the lease is up at the end of May and I am gone. Looks like the girlfriend will be seeing a lot more of me!
