Crybaby BridgeRate this encounter: Susan McKinzie Smith, Columbus, Georgia, August 1, 2002 susmith@cox.netCrybaby Bridge is an isolated, old rickety bridgeway in the woods -- there are no houses around. This bridge is supposed to have things happen when you park on it. Local legend says that either a woman drowned her children in the creek below the bridge, or her children drowned through fault of their own. I do not know which story is true. This was a new tape and I did not hear anything when we asked the question, but we had this when we listened to the recording. If you listen closely you can hear me say "What is your name?" After a few seconds you can hear someone say "Boyd." Then after another few seconds you can hear someone say "I don't remember."
