The Man in the TV

I have always known that ghosts were real, but this was the night that would
scar me for the rest of my life.
I had felt a presence in this house before, but not quite as strong as on
this night.
I slept in the room on the second story of my house. The room was the only
part of the second story. There was a staircase in the middle with a tiny
closet right beside it.
I was laying in my bed when things started to get really really hot and I
felt someone floating about a foot above me in a horizontal position. I
threw my covers off to get some cool air. I was glad to see that there was
nobody above me, but then I looked at my television and it had a reflection
of a man from the waist up standing in my large window. Despite my fear I
looked back to get a closer look, but he was gone. My TV had no reflection
of him anymore either.
I thought it was over but then I got up and a splotchy shadow figure darted
out of my closet and as soon as it hit my stairwell it vanished. I slept
downstairs on the couch from that night on. When I tried to tell my parents,
they thought I was just making excuses not to sleep upstairs.
