Shadow People and Creatures

Before I moved to Vegas I lived in a small town in Connecticut. My family
moved into a brand new house in 1992, I was about three, and I had a new
little brother. I don't remember anything for the first few years because I
was so young. I had my first encounter (that I can remember) when I was
about 7. I was sitting in bed with the babysitter reading a book, as we sat
on the bed the mattress bounced as if someone was underneath. My babysitter
flipped out and took me out of the room.
The next thing I remember is waking up one night and looking over next to my
bed. There was something that looked like a black figure of a small animal
looking at me and then ran out of the door into my brother's room. I
screamed and my parents came in I told them what had happened and they said
it was a dream. But a few nights later I woke again to look over at my desk
and see the image of a man sitting on top laughing. I didn't bother to tell
my family because they wouldn't believe me.
Another time I went to bring the dog in from outside (there was a door from
the garage to the backyard that the dog used). I opened the door from the
house to the garage to find a tall, blacked-out figure standing right next
to my dog. I freaked out and let the dog in. I told my mom and she said a
little while ago she had seen the same thing. There was also a time when I
had a friend see the man's figure as well when she was spending the night.
The thing that freaked me out most was when my youngest sister was born. She
ended up in my old room and I was in another. One night I was babysitting
her with a friend and my sister was in bed. The baby monitor was on and I
could hear her cooing which was weird because she only cooed at people. I
went to check on her and she was laying on her back with her hands in the
air toward the ceiling just staring and cooing then her hands and her eyes
almost followed something to the closet door and then she stopped and just
looked at me.
A lot of other things happened in that house, noises, footsteps, and
misplaced objects. We also had a motion sensor security system that would
randomly go off in the middle of the night. It happened so often my dad
stopped setting the alarm.
Some people don't believe me and think I make all this up but it all has
really happened. It was great to log on to this website and read other
encounters that sound just like mine because I now I am not crazy!
