It Left the Seat UpRate this encounter: Courtney, Deltona, Florida, September 2006I was house sitting for a few friends of mine who were going out of town for a week. They warned me that there are some quarks about the house. They told me that it was haunted. The one man, Wayne, said that he has woken up and a male ghost will be at the foot of his bed. He always puts both the lip and the lid down on the toilet. Always. And sometimes the lid would be up when no one else had used the bathroom. They had 6 dogs that would randomly flip out in the middle of the night. None of this bothered me. Of course I always kept the toilet seat down just to see if anything would happen. I was there about four days and one morning I woke up and went to the bathroom, the toilet seat was up, both the lip and the lid. I was the only person there and I don't lift the lip of the seat to go to the bathroom. Later that night I was on the computer and I heard voices, although I couldn't figure out what they were saying. I figured I had left the TV on. I got up and walked across the house to the TV and it was off. I then started to turn around and out of the corner of my eye, in the reflection of the TV, I saw a man walk across the room. A few days later I was at work when the couple returned and I stopped by on my way home to drop off the house keys. They asked me if I had made a pot of coffee. I hadn't. I didn't even know where the filters were or the coffee. I stated "no" and they said, "Oh, well someone did, looks like it was a full pot and they drank a cup or so." Neither of them had made the coffee, it was already made when they got home. No one had been in the house for about 6 hours.
