Strange Tapping SoundsRate this encounter: Cris, San Diego, California, March 4, 2007For some years I've been experiencing strange phenomena of something at my work. In regards with ghosts and hauntings, I believe that the office where I work is haunted. The best way I can describe what I am experiencing is strange taps. These taps -- I can hear them sometimes faintly and then it could be loud enough that it feels like it's right next to me. I hear it traveling around the room. I have not seen anything in the spiritual form yet, thank God. These taps were heard not only by me, but by a fellow colleague, the office manager, as well as customers. To describe the sound I am hearing it is like someone is hitting a metal object through something rocky, and I would hear the bits of rock/debris come off and drop to the ground. I've been hearing this sound occasionally for the past several years working here. If the spirit is trapped somewhere, I feel sorry for it. At the same time I don't want to go any deeper to entertain this spirit because it might be evil knocking at my door. Anyways, I may do some historical research on this 20- maybe 30-year-old office complex and the site its on. It's close to a major freeway so that can play an important role here. At least I can say that I'm not a crazy-headed person, and I was not the only one hearing things. By the way, the sound is too melody-like to be a rat or animal related. It sounds more like tools striking each other. I can probably live with this so nothing serious to worry about. Wish me luck as I try to find the source of these tapping sounds.
