Gore Orphanage RemainsRate this encounter: Katelyn Potts - Vermillion, Ohio - September 17, 2010Me and a few friends went to a place called Gore Orphanage and we got the crap scared out of us. There is a legend that an orphanage full of kids burnt down and now the whole place is a state park. We went down there and when we got to the site, there was a Ouija board down there so I started messing with it. The board spelled out the name "Jacob," who is supposedly one of the kids who passed. Well, to make a long story short, my uncle made us leave because he got scared, but on the way out he made us turn out our flashlights. I could not see to get out, so I asked Jacob for help, and all of a sudden something started to pull me out of there. This place is in the pitch black and in the woods, so I never would have gotten out of there without one scratch on me. Y'all need to come check this place out, you won't be disappointed.
