My Guardian Angel UncleRate this encounter: Jackie - Chiloquin, Oregon - Around April of 1997I've had experiences with the unexplained for as long as I can remember. This was probably one of my very first experiences. This particular night, I was having a hard time falling asleep. I was lying on my back, looking up at the ceiling when I got this feeling that my sister and I weren't the only ones in the room. I sat up and looked toward the doorway. The only way I can describe it is a black mass standing in the doorway. I could make out that it was male, not too tall, maybe 5'8". I sat on my bed staring at this man. I finally looked away for 10 seconds. When I looked back, he was gone. At about 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning, my grandma calls and said that my Uncle Scott had passed away. I was so stunned that I could not move. A month or two later, I told my dad about what I had seen the night my Uncle died. What he told me stunned me. He said that he had seen a man standing at the foot of my parents' bed. He said that after my grandma called, he knew that it was my Uncle checking on my mom to make sure she was doing fine. After he had seen that we were okay, he left and move on. Nowadays, I get a slight sense that my uncle is there, protecting me. Like my guardian angel.
