Black-Hooded EntitiesRate this encounter: [Name Withheld Upon Request], Kentucky, 1983In 1983, I had just gone through a divorce and I was staying with my parents on the farm for a few months. One night, I had gone to bed and had just closed my eyes when I felt someone watching me. I opened my eyes, but there was no one there. I closed my eyes again, and the same thing happened. Every time I closed my eyes I felt them there, but as soon as I opened them, I felt they weren't there. Finally, I pulled the covers over my face and closed my eyes. Only then was I able to go to sleep. Thereafter, each time I got in bed and closed my eyes, they were there. So close, in fact, that had they been human, I would have felt their breath on my face. I felt they were as close as they could get, without touching me (nose-to-nose!). I don't know how I knew this, but there were three. They wore black-hooded robes, and where their faces should have been, there was blackness. I saw them with my mind, if that makes any sense! This went on each night I lived at the farm (which was several months). After that, I never "saw" or felt them again (thank heavens)! But, after all these years, I still remember the feeling. The entities (or spirits, or whatever one might call them) were evil. A terrible feeling came over me each night. They were just there... standing over me and staring right into my face. I never told anyone about the encounters; I felt they would think I was losing my mind. But I have never had mental problems... I am a level-headed, honest, and straight-forward person (although I have had some encounters with ghosts/spirits and have been told I am psychic, but nothing like those black-hooded entities, who stood staring at me night after night). Could someone please tell me if there is a name for these entities/spirits, why they were there, and what they wanted?
