Eileen Holland is a Wiccan priestess, a solitary eclectic Witch, and the author of books about Witchcraft. She is also the webmaster of Open Sesame at www.open-sesame.com. She lives in New York. This is her finest nonfiction work to date.

Holland’s book has more than 500 separate topics which are arranged alphabetically. These correspondences are selected from many cultures and traditions. This includes Hindu, Egyptian, Mayan, African, Buddhist, Chinese, Native American, among others.

As a resource text, it is incredibly accurate, and honest. If you are seeking correspondences for creating magickal workings, this is the perfect book to have on hand. This is a ritual handbook. An excellent one.

The introduction is followed by a section titled, “Using This Book.” There are twenty-five chapters. Each chapter covers an alphabet letter. Chapter 1 is A. Chapter 14 is N. Chapter 25 is Z. A selected bibliography concludes the book.

A well-thought out book, it is a fine example of a ritual handbook that truly works. The reader will find much to learn, and apply, in this informative book.
