Ghostly Tricks

It was about 4:00 in the afternoon and I had just gotten home from school.
My mother had left me a note telling me to clean up the house because we had
company coming over. I was in a hurry because I had to pick up the entire
house by myself in about 30 minutes. I had just gotten done doing all the
dishes and cleaning up the kitchen so I decided to take my mom's laundry
basket back into her bedroom. I walked through her room and into her
bathroom, put the basket down, and I heard the TV on her dresser turn on. I
didn't really think anything of it because it was such an old TV. I walked
back into the kitchen and on the stove was the tea kettle I had just washed,
it was full of water, and the burner was on high. It's now 2009 and I am
still living in the same home. The same strange occurrences have continued
to happen over the past years and still occur today.
