BLACK FOREST, CO, OCTOBER 7, 2010 — There was a time not too long ago that a particular local acreage terrorized and perplexed those who lived or visited there. Its paranormal energies intrigued ghost hunters, spiritualists, and thrill-seekers, alike. Those unexplained events remain active and this property, its mysteries and unexplained secrets, could now be yours as its owners have decided… enough is enough. The owners have decided to sell the legendary “Black Forest Haunting.”

Owners, Beth and Steve Lee, have decided to sell their property that is the location of the world renowned and legendary “Black Forest Haunting.” The Lees leased the two story log home beginning May 1991. After buying the property in 1992, they began to observe unexplained lights, sounds, shadows, odors, and physical occurrences. Local authorities were unsuccessful in finding definitive evidence of any unlawful wrongdoing. Throughout, the Lees had captured bizarre photographic and video images. Bewildered, they forwarded some of these materials to “Sightings,” a television show dedicated to presenting stories about strange and unusual occurrences to its viewing audience. The show’s producers asked Hollywood special effects technician Edson Williams to examine the video. Williams concluded that the light images would be extremely difficult to reproduce and some of them completely defied the laws of optics. The mystery escalated.

“Sighting’s” producers brought in renowned paranormal investigators Echo Bodine, Peter James, and Dennis Hauck, among others, to explore the Lee’s property. Over several “Sightings” episodes, all these experts encountered unexplained, other-worldly energies (presences). James said, “There is an energy here unlike any I’ve ever experienced in all the years I’ve investigated anomalous activity. So the Black Forest is indeed a very important place that should be further investigated.” Other paranormal and spiritual investigators visited the Lee’s property and were not disappointed as they, too, experienced a variety of activities pertinent to their areas of expertise yet, the mysteries remain unanswered. Numerous websites devoted to unsolved mysteries, the paranormal, and the unknown include segments addressing various aspects of the Lee’s property which continues to attract attention, and maintains a large following from all over the world.

A remote, private estate, the Lees added on, updated, improved and expanded their original property to now include the main residence, two additional houses and various out-buildings contained within approximately 20 acres of well-groomed, densely forested property. The main house, an exquisite custom log home, has approximately 6000 square feet that includes seven (7) bedrooms and five (5) bathrooms. The other two properties offer a total of an additional ten (10) bedrooms and six (6) bathrooms. There are even two habitable tree houses and numerous clearings suitable for fire-side camp-outs. The Lee estate is tranquil, serene and, at the same time… disturbing. The Lees want to sell their property to an unique buyer who values the extraordinary paranormal, spiritual and mystical qualities of this location. Free of covenants, the site could be an ideal research training ground for paranormal investigations or a thrill-seeker vacation spot… a “ghost camp,” if you will. Adding to its infamous reputation as “The Black Forest Haunting,” there have been three deaths on the property since 2007. Needless to say, the property continues to be paranormally and spiritually active. In addition, the Lees will include with the sale supportive materials consisting of acclaimed photographs, videotape, and DVDs pertinent to the property’s notoriety, along with the potential of limited, future access to the Lees themselves and their experiences while living on the property.
