My husband was out of town working contruction while my son was still very little. I never knew anything about the paranormal at that time.
One night, I went to bed as normal. I fell asleep and was awaken by an apparition of what seemed, in my mind, to be the Virgin Mary. She was standing right beside my bed. I looked at her and saw her gown and veil. She was sort of transparent.
I was scared to death, to say the least, so much that I couldn’t even move! I watched her for about a minute. All of a sudden, I felt her hands move under my legs and saw them go over on the bed. I was terrified, yet for some reason, she didn’t feel like a threat to me, and she vanished after that.
Fast forward 14 years: I was in a very unhapppy marriage. I left my husband and met another man and we moved in together. He asked me to marry him and I was happy for the first time in a long time. However, as luck would have it, he was in a car accident at work and had to have surgury in his cervical area. After the surgery, the doctor perscribed narcotics for the pain. After being on those pills for awhile, he decided to ask his doctor to wean him off. The doctor gave him methadone and within thirty-six hours, he was dead.
This is how it happened: I went to bed as normal. My husband, mark, came into bed and laid down beside me. I rolled over onto my side and in the middle of the night I felt him moving around. I saw him sitting on the bed indian-style and so I said to him, “Mark, wake up, you’re dreaming.”
He didn’t say anything, so I tapped on his knees and said, “Please lay down. You’re dreaming.” Then he laid down, but the wrong way in bed, so I had to put my hands under his legs and moved them over to his side of the bed.
I woke up around 9 a.m. to find him dead beside me. I had his blood and lung fluid all over my back and the bed was soaked. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
After a few weeks, I remembered the Virgin Mary coming to me in the middle of the night and moving my legs over in bed the exact same way I had my husband’s the night he died. I took that as a premonition.
This is a true story. I have no reason to make something like that up. His death was from an overdose and on record. I thought that I would share this with you. There have been more episodes of spirit communication at my house, but there is alot to tell. But again, all true. Thank you for reading this.
