Naudon traces this evolution of various organizations in a straight-forward approach. One exciting chapter is about secular brotherhoods.
How the transmission of tradition from pre-Christian times to the modern era was achieved is explained. The information makes for interesting reading! Chapter 5 is about the Crusades and the Templars, and there are some fresh insights in this chapter which will intrigue those interested in the Knights Templar.
Paul Naudon is a law scholar. He is a Freemason and author, and lives in France. The book is translated by Jon Graham, and the translation is skillful and smooth.
