This is one of the best palmistry book this reviewer has come across. Clearly written and illustrated, there is much to learn about the hand in this book. Judith Hipskind Collins lives in Texas and works as a professional palmist in Dallas. She has been working with the art of palmistry since 1967. In addition to writing, she also teaches and lectures.

For a reader unaware of the intricate art of palmistry reading, this is an excellent starting point and will serve as an on-going guide. Collins shares her vast knowledge of palmistry and explains why hand analysis works.

This edition contains over 185 illustrations. It features a palmistry dictionary of more than 250 personality and character traits. Corresponding physical features are also explained.

The important aspect of this book is that it shows the reader how to read the hand. The focus is positive. Use of information found in a hand reading is utilized in a constructive manner.

There are 21 chapters in the book. Chapter Six deals with signs from the back of the hand such as nails and knuckles. Other topics of interest include information on flexibility between fingers and palm. The significance of stiff thumbs is discussed. Finger length and meaning, mounts of the hands, life line, heart line, head line, and fate line are among other interesting topics discussed and shared with the reader.

For those who want a first-class, top rate explanation of palmistry, this is the book to have. It educates and it entertains. Well-written.
