M. Isidora Forrest has been a devotee of the Goddess Isis for twenty years and with her husband, Adam, founded the Hermetic Fellowship. A gifted writer, her book will appeal to readers of the supernatural, paranormal, and those interested in Isis. Isis has much appeal in contemporary times with Pagans.

This book explains how those interested in Isis can develop a highly personal relationship with her as a point of sacred worship. It is pointed out that worship comes through making an offering of devotion which can cover such methods as meditation, among others. The book serves as an on-hands approach to ritual through the seventy-two symbolic offerings to Isis. These are considered and defined as the sacred symbols. There are many beautifully written invocations given for the reader to use.

The chapter on ancient offerings discusses how a connection with Isis is made. Other items covered include the offering and words of pray, and offering to the sacred image. Much information on the magick and making of offerings for today are revealed.

The offerings section details much knowledge about acacia, ankh, the cry of Isis, magickal and healing herbs, phallus, womb and vulva, and other symbols. The sexuality of Isis is also discussed.

This is the type of well-written book which should appeal to a wide reading audience. All information is carefully explained. This is an intriguing and interesting book, and makes for fascinating reading about Isis.
