Ghostvillage.com review
This 10th Anniversary Edition is a welcome item for those interested in Shamanism, and the writings of Carlos Castaneda, among others. The book remains a major overview of the theory, discipline, and practice of the Toltec Way.
This book examines in detail the three Toltec Rs: re-examination, re-interpretation, and re-formulation as a way to perceive the world. Processes for managing personal perception through the act of dreaming and visions are explained. Cleary written, this is the type of book that will go far in helping those truly interested in the Toltec Way.
The preface to the second edition, note to readers, and the introduction (“Stepping Off A Flat Earth”) are followed by five parts. Each part contains topics. Among the many topics of interest are found “Places in Time, Places in Mind,” “The Shape of Things to Come,” “Ready, Aim, Fire From Within,” “A Tool Kit,” “Power Tools,” “On the Wild Side,” “Tracking the Dreaming Body,” and “Tracking Intent.” Each topic makes for fascinating reading.
Notes, bibliography, and index conclude this fine book. Ken Eagle Feather is the author of many writings including the book, The Dream of Vixen. He lives in Richmond, Virginia. Ken Eagle Feather’s book is an entertaining and educational look at Shamanism, and one you will find filled with useful and unusual applications.
