My father was Ranger of Camp Ker-Anna in the late 80s and early 90s. Not only did I attend overnight and day camps there, but I lived there for much my childhood. You told the tale nearly verbatim from what I remember. Hot-Shot Charlie was particularly terrifying to me! I can’t tell you how many times I all-out sprinted home to the Ranger’s Cabin in a certified panic if I ever found myself alone on the property at night. Thanks for the memories!
