Date of Encounter: February 15, 1991
My mother had passed away about one month before this happened. I was fixing dinner, had poured a glass of wine, and it was on the counter where I was preparing dinner. I was also a smoker. While fixing dinner I went to take a sip of wine and the wine glass was gone. It was not in sight anywhere.
Some time later I put something in the microwave and there was my wine glass on top of the microwave, on the other side of the kitchen. It was the full wine glass and my whole pack of cigarettes was stuffed down into the wine. I knew then it was my mother sending me a message. She died of COPD from smoking. All I said at the time was, “Okay Mom, I got the message.” I knew at that moment it was her. Nothing has happened since.
