Forest Park Cemetery Chase

Location: Forest Park Cemetery, Troy, New York
Date of Encounter: 2003 and September 24, 2004

I've heard the stories, but our encounter was out of this world. I first went there a year ago with my fiancée, his brother, and 3 of their friends. We first got a feeling of un-easiness at the street leading up to the cemetery — it was pitch black all the way until the one light at the opening of the cemetery. Three of the guys decided to go into the cemetery (some of us weren't so brave). I decided to walk up to the gate and look in. As I was looking, I started seeing an orange glow ahead of me. Then all of a sudden the house that was burned down, was burning again, right in front of my eyes. All I could do was sit there and cry.

When my fiancée came over, he asked me what was wrong, and I pointed. He looked and started to freak out too. Then, our friend, Matt's car started ticking like a bomb. it was definitely scary. We were freaked out, so we were looking through the fence trying to find the others, when we saw something that looked like a white dog, but it was see-through. As quick as we saw it, the boys came running out of the cemetery screaming at the top of there lungs. We all jumped in our cars and drove off. Me and my fiancée got out of there first.

As we were driving, he got this terrified look on his face. I asked him what was wrong, and he said there was a man following us on a horse. I was too scared to look. It might sound stupid, but after the man on the horse was gone, we decided to slow down and wait for his friends. All of a sudden they came flying by us — I quickly noticed something real weird — Matt had recently taken the bulb out of his one headlight because it didn't work. When he flew by us, both of his headlights were working! When we got out of there, we decided to stop at the gas station. We all got a little freaked out when we looked at my fiancée and his head was bleeding, but when he wiped it off, there was nothing. You'd think there would be a wound, but there was nothing! 

Last night, me, my fiancée, my brother, and his wife decided to go up there to check it out again. Me and my fiancée got out the car to take a look. This time, we couldn't see the house at all. But our eyes quickly came to something in a crouching position near the tree. We got back in the car quick. The figure was black with white. Thinking maybe we were just seeing things, we got back out of the car, my brother came along this time. As I was trying to explain to him where it was by pointing at the tree close to where it was, my fiancée started screaming.. "its moving! Its coming towards us!" I glanced over and seen it walking towards us. We all jumped back in the car, and peeled out. 

A cop was at the end of the street, and decided to follow us until we drove out of Troy.

I swore I would never go back again, but we never know!
