After my father passed away that evening I felt his presence. And now once in a while the clock is set wrong. Which is kind of a joke because when we worked out of town together I was very obsessed with the clock being set early because his condition slowed him down. Now there are three shadows in my hallway. You see; within the last year my father and both of his best friends died. A medium told me these were his friends creating the activity before dad's death. The others were his friends on the other side waiting, because they knew he would be there with them soon.

My five year old has asked who's the man is in his doorway (we tell him grandpa is saying "hi" from heaven). While lying in bed late one night I heard my son start crying and say, "I miss you grandpa, but stop scaring me." As I walked into the hallway to make light of the experience, the hallway was thick and teared my eyes instantly.

Dad's friend, Mickey was shy and quiet, this, I think, explains the shadow that peeks around the corner of one of the doorways. The Standoffish shadowy figure I think is my uncle Donnie, my dad's best friend married my aunt. Donnie and I were never close due to geographics, but I think he's just hanging out with dad.

The third figure seems to roam more freely and when it (he) does, things happen to the clock, or the TV gets turned off. That's dad. Things tend to fall in the kitchen on active nights. One night in particular, I was working graveyard and had a horror story when I got home at 8:30 AM. My four-year-old (at the time) ran across the street banging on the door. My neighbor luckily fell asleep on her couch. When she opened the door he said, "There's a man in the house and he scared me." My neighbor not knowing anything at the time, cautiously walked across the street at 2 or 3 in the morning and walked through the house finding my wife and everyone else asleep. She walked around the house and saw nothing. The neighbor put my son in his bed and went home. Fifteen minutes later my son was knocking and screaming again. This time the neighbor ran across the street, cell phone in hand only to find the same situation as before. This time my son insisted on sleeping on the couch. I want to add that just before and after my father's death (for 2 to 3 weeks), the activity in the hallway was so intense, that my wife and I on several occasions turned the TV off and watched the shadows and lights in the hallway. I stopped doing this when I realized it was jilting my wife. Although at first she was okay with it.
