Oakhurst, California–On October 10, 2008, Central California Paranormal Investigators (CCPI) is sponsoring a weekend Seminar at one of the Valley’s most haunted locations. This is the very first event of its kind for the Central Valley and promises to be an informative and exciting couple of days. The main focus is continuing education for those who are passionate about the paranormal and/or active in ghost hunting groups. This is a chance to sharpen your skills, hear different theories, see new technology & equipment, talk with the experts on subjects like spirit photography, Quantum physics, documenting evidence plus network with other paranormal investigators in the Valley.

During the Seminar CCPI will be selling, raffling and auctioning items to raise money for a worthwhile cause. A portion of our proceeds will go towards a selected community nonprofit organization. This year’s recipient is the Animal Rescue of Fresno (A.R.F.). This is a no kill shelter run by volunteers for the many dogs in need of rescue. A.R.F. is dependent on private donations and grant monies to keep its doors open, provide the loving hands to feed and nurture these animals and then sponsor special events where many of these dogs find a home. CCPI hopes to raise enough money to help A.R.F throughout 2009.
