My husband, my grandson, and I were at a defunct air force base waiting to load at Cabela’s. There was an awesome thunder and lightning storm going on, it was almost dark, so we decided to turn off our semi truck and watch the lightning show. That’s when we heard two little girls singing. The sound of the song was familiar, but we couldn’t understand the words. It also sounded weird and echoing, like an old phonograph. We were shocked, as this base was completely empty. Then the singing slowly trailed off and we heard a man’s voice laughing — a horrible, evil laugh, then nothing!

My grandson, my husband, and I just stared at each other in disbelief! There was nobody at this base, there were no loud speakers anywhere, as they had all been taken down. We had passed an abandoned school just down the hill, and I believe it was coming from there. We were parked across the street from a big, old church, and next to a pole building that said “Power” on it. We were also on top of a big water drain, and it sounded like the voices had come through there. We all started laughing hysterically, and I have been trying to find out if there had been a disappearance there of two little girls, but haven’t found anything. I was sick to my heart for years after because we didn’t know if we were hearing something that had already happened, or something that was going to happen. Because if it hadn’t happened yet, we could possibly do something about it. I have no doubts that it was paranormal. My husband and grandson feel the same. I did find one thing: a group of teenagers were driving by an old, big house in that area and had seen the ghosts of a man and two girls in the window. This school could be mistaken for a very large old house. If anyone has heard of this please let me know.
