Ghostvillage.com review
Although this entertaining book is written for cat lovers, this reviewer believes it will cast a wide net of pleasure for all people who have pet companions. It is one of those special little books that grows on you the more you read it!
This is the true story of how Dana Kramer-Rolls’s three cats — Iggy, Isabel, and Inky — taught the author how to tap into her “inner cat.” There is a delightful approach to reveling in the art of doing nothing and enjoying oneself. Points to ponder in this highly witty and thoughtful book include: Sleep deeply, move silently, enjoy the art of rolling around on the floor, practicing cat empathy, and celebrating a state of bliss.
There are eleven chapters. This reviewer has cats and found it a pleasure to re-read the book twice before reviewing it. Among the titles are “Learning to Move Silently,” “Doing Nothing Well,” “The Gentle Art of Cat Naps,” “Old Age and Wisdom,” and “The Divinity Within.”
Totally enjoyable, filled with insights and observations, humorous, and blessed with a sense of joy, this fine little book will totally captivate you with its 164 pages. The Way of the Cat is a book you will come back to often. Great reading pleasure abounds in this book. Congratulations to the author on a well-written book.
