This is a remarkable book, and ranks above the herd when it comes to individual treatment of the body for wellness, and it is one of the finest written texts with accompanying photographs. In short, it is an excellent work and richly deserves its title as The Reflexology Atlas.

The book is translated from the German by Nikolas Win Myint. The translation reads well, and is fluid and smooth reading.

Following the introduction, massage topics cover the foot, hand, ear, and head. Shiatsu is covered in detail.

The section on alleviating ailments is highly helpful. Back pain, allergies, breathing problems, digestive system, endocrine system, headaches, heart and circulatory problems, hip joint problems, knee pain, menstrual problems, shoulder problems, sleep problems, and urinary tract ailments are examined and explained in clear language. The book also contains appendix and resources, plus a bibliography and index.

If you want an accurate and complete hands-on approach to reflexology, this is a book to have for quick, reliable reference. Interesting to read, it is also entertaining.
