The Kabbalah Tree is an in-depth, intriguing approach to the Tree of Life. There is a magnificent poster accompanying the book which features Hermann Haindl’s depiction of the Tree of Life. What makes this a reliable, complete book for readers of the paranormal and the supernatural, is the exact history with texts and mystical concepts. A discussion of why this esoteric tradition has come to such importance in contemporary times is also included.

This is a non-dogmatic approach to Kabbalah in which abstract concepts are clearly defined and examined. Additional interests are covered including the relationship of the Four Worlds of the Kabbalah, and their intricate relation to the four elements and the four suits of the tarot.

A sampling of the chapters in this fine nonfiction book reveals the captivating contents. Such chapter topics are sure to capture the reader’s imagination, and interest: “The Tree and the Ladder,” “The Tree Within the Tree,” “The History of an Image,” “Four Worlds,” “Tree Overall,” “Ten Sephiroth, Part 1,” “Ten Sephiroth, Part 2,” among others. Chapter Eight details the twenty-two pathways, letters and cards.

For the beginner, or advanced reader, this look at the Kabbalah Tree as a way of personal transformation through a journey of balance and growth will prove to be both intelligent and provocative reading. There is much food for thought in this fine book. The Kabbalah Tree is highly recommended reading for those interested in the Kabbalah.
