My Mom passed in 2013, my Dad in 2019. I live in Minnesota, they lived in Florida. I was the executor of the estate, so I was responsible for cleaning their house out and selling it. Unfortunately, three years before Dad passed, he had a girlfriend who was a drunk, evil woman. She would help herself to my Mom’s jewelry and other treasures. A month before my Dad passed, this woman insisted that my Dad update his will to allow her to keep her stolen treasures. One of the treasures was my family’s grandfather clock. It was removed from my Dad’s house months before his passing. As me and my husband were taking a break from cleaning out their house one day at 12:00 noon, we both heard a grandfather clock chime. But there was no grandfather clock — evil girlfriend had it. We both looked at each other and said, “What the hell was that?” Whenever I hear the music of a grandfather clock, I always say “hi” to my Dad.
