Rosemary Ellen Guiley is one of the finest research authors in the field of paranormal and supernatural material. She is also the author of many publications, including the 1999 nonfiction book, The Encyclopedia of Witches & Witchcraft

Reading a Rosemary Ellen Guiley book is like enjoying a fine gourmet meal for the mind, and it is a delicious adventure from beginning to end. These books will delight the reader in all aspects!

Vampires, Werewolves, and Other Monsters is a fine reference guide to those intriguing creatures of the night, and the material covers in-depth facts, fiction, and folklore. Some of the numerous topics include: Dracula, and the many actors who played that role such as Gary Oldman Christopher Lee, and Frank Langella, Hammer films, the Merionethshire Werewolf, Lon Chaney, Jr. and The Wolf Man, Nosferatu, shape-shifitng, Zugarramurdi Witches, among others. There are 102 black and white photographs and illustrations with cross-references.

Ghosts and Spirits
is an equally fine reading companion and one that will fascinate readers with its entries on gremlins, poltergeists, ghostbusters, death omens, Eddie Burks, Nandor Fodor, the Fox Sisters, funayuhrei, Andrew Malcom Green, spiritualist associations and organizations, shamanism, tree ghosts, vetala, clairvoyance, among others. There are 132 black and white illustrations and photographs with cross-references.

These are definitely two excellent nonfiction reference works to have in your home library, give as a gift, and have your local library order copies for its reading patrons. As expected, Rosemary Ellen Guiley gives the readers top-notch information that is both educational and enjoyable reading. Highly recommended.
