Mother Superior’s Approval

I was working late (9:30 pm), alone in a Catholic School, which had previously been staffed by sisters (nuns). I was preparing send-home packs of music and exercises for music students in the school, which would be picked up the next morning by parents (due to the school’s being closed by the covid-19 virus). I was on the final folders, filling choir folders, when I had the distinct feeling of someone approaching me in indignation, then looking over my shoulder to see that I was placing copies of Mozart’s “Ave Verum Corpus” into the folders. I felt the spirit smile, then experienced a feeling as if I were being tapped on the shoulder in approval. When I told the school secretary what happened, we both got goosebumps and decided it must have been the spirit of the Mother Superior, who was checking to see why one of her “sisters” was working so late, then was pleased to see I was distributing a Sacred Motet for the sake of students. I think Jeff Belanger should check this school out, as many staff and teachers have experienced strange things at night in the school.
