One of Sibyl Ferguson’s important books, this book gives some keen insights into the use of crystal ball related material. The late Sibyl Ferguson was an internationally-recognized clairvoyant and psychic. Witch Bree is a medievalist, poet, and metaphysical scholar; she is also a practicing Wiccan and astrologer.

This book is about divination, and an excellent one. Short, compact, and concise, there is much of value to be learned from this fine nonfiction work. Scrying is the key motif of this work, and the accurate history and art of using crystal balls and related is detailed. In the Bible, this was referred to as “shewstones” for improving a person’s daily life.

There is a listing from A through Z of stones and their lore. The power and properties of stones is covered.

There is much information for the care of gemstones. Data on using stones for protection and healing is given.

There are two parts to the book. The reader will find the writing enjoyable, and highly educational. This is one of the better texts on stones, amulets, and talismans for use in achieving power, protection, and prophecy. The section covering colors and shapes will be invaluable reading for those seeking particular guidelines to the powers related to these important items!

Well-written. This book should be a welcome addition in homes and public libraries.
