A remarkable book in scope and imagination, Ritual Craft is an in-depth examination of how to create rites for transformation and celebration in Wicca and Witchcraft. This book is over five-hundred pages long, and nothing is left to chance, and everything is clearly explained.
Amber K and Azrael Arynn K are well-known in the world of Witchcraft and Wicca, and the writings they have created are fine examples of inquisitive minds at work. The reader will find this book excellent and enjoyable reading.
Following an intriguing introduction, the reader is given material that defines what ritual is, and discusses rituals found around the world. There is a section dealing with what are the best and worst rituals. Among the many topics covered are steps of ritual, clarifying personal purpose before ritual, the timing and environment of ritual, aspects of ritual, safe and appropriate ritual, types of ritual, ritual steps, Samhain ideas, supplies, magickal symbols and language of correspondences, and a well-constructed section of readings for use in ritual. The glossary and bibliography are superb.
There is a section in this fine, long book which explains the habits of highly effective ritualism. There is a solid introduction to arriving at a quick reference for selected deities by attributes.
Amber K and Azrael Arynn K were handfasted in 1994. Both women have co-authored books together and teach. This book is their masterpiece on ritual craft.
For something helpful to have in your Wicca and Witchcraft collection, this is definitely a fine addition, a book which genuinely helps, instructs, and shares meaningful knowledge. Whether you are a Wiccan or a Witch, or just curious, this book has it all in regard to what is ritual craft. Highly recommended.
