Monty, my Border Collie, died suddenly at age 11 in my arms with a suspected heart attack on April 11, 2010. A week prior to his death, I took his photo on his bed in my den. A week after he died, I decided to take out the disk from the camera and download the accumulated 43 pictures to my computer. When all the pictures were downloaded, I opened the file, and every photo was the one I took of Monty, all 43, showing the same picture of Monty on his bed. I removed the disk from the computer, re-inserted it, and downloaded the pictures again. All pictures came out as expected.
I’m sure that Monty wanted to remind me not to forget him. I have that picture as the home screen on my desktop ever since (seen here). He is not forgotten.
