Time Flies

I was visiting my girlfriend in her dorm room one afternoon. I had been picking on her about the girl that hung herself in the room the previous year. I said some really mean things that had been rumored about the girl and made some very rude comments out loud — trying to intrigue the girl's spirit if it was still there. I had always had a funny feeling about the room — just one of those negative vibes you get.

As we were walking out the door, an alarm clock that sits on the widow sill flew violently across the room and crashed on the floor. The windows were closed and we have ruled out the fact that it would have taken a very strong wind to fling the clock as far across the room as it went. My girlfriend picked up the clock and placed it back on the window and we got the heck out of there. My girlfriend never spent another night alone in the room after that incident.
