James was the younger brother of Jesus. James has been an ongoing point of controversy since the founding of Christianity. Jeffrey Butz skillfully presents the facts to illustrate that James was the chosen successor of Jesus Christ. Further, Butz reveals the facts that illuminate the teachings of Jesus as a repudiation of the Jewish religion, not an expansion.

This book will contradict many teachings of the Catholic Church. Most recently, a documented artifact was unearthed. It was a Jewish ossuary bearing the inscription: “James, son of Jospeh, brother of Jesus.” Hard physical and factual data over the past fifteen years contradicts the Catholic Church lie that Jesus was an only child. James has become a symbol of suppressed Christian teachings.

A controversial book, it is sure to stir up the proverbial pot. Butz has written a fine nonfiction work, one that will make the reader think, and question. Highly recommended for its insights into James, the brother of Jesus Christ.
