For those readers interested in the afterlife and past life experiences, this is a topnotch reading adventure. Michael Newton has been a counseling psychologist, teacher, and hypnotherapist for over 40 years. He is the founder of the Society for Spiritual Regression. Among his other excellent writings are found the books, Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls.

Essentially, what this fine nonfiction book is about is taking hypnotic subjects back to their actual time in the spirit world. This book deals with soul companions, guides, and the purposes of an individual in his or her current lifetime.

The book is a step-by-step approach to finding answers to questions of who a person is, where he or she came from, and why that person is here in this current lifetime. There are six parts to the books, including appendix and index. Among the numerous topics are addressing client belief systems, practicing life between lives hypnosis, client preconceptions, moving back in time, inside the mother’s womb, the transition into a past life, desensitizing trauma, initial visualizations of the soul state, instructions for soul departure, orientation with guides, recognition of soul colors, primary soulmates, soul energy, reviewing past life incarnations, and many more.
