HAMILTON, ONTARIO, CANADA — Stephanie Lechniak-Cumerlato and Daniel Cumerlato, Founding Partners of Haunted Hamilton (www.hauntedhamilton.com and www.ghostwalks.com) are proud to present the Second Annual Paranormal Summit 2005: Canada’s Premiere Ghost Conference, taking place on Saturday, October 1st, 2005. This second-time event will take place at the historic and infamously haunted Customs House in Hamilton. 

The key feature of the event is the main exhibitor hall which will be opened throughout the day (9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.) and feature over 30 exhibitors with paranormal researchers, investigators, authors, scientists, historians, tour guides, and many more. Ghost Investigators from all over the country will be available to explain their methods of ghost research, show their findings including ghost photographs, EVP (ghost voices), video footage, and tools of the trade. There will also be various psychics, palmists, and other new age practitioners on site to offer their services.

There will also be six keynote speakers leading our special seminars and workshops that will run throughout the day. They include:

“Palmistry Unveiled” with Kate Kingston, Palmist & Psychic Investigator, 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. 

“Ghost Investigative Equipment – The How-To’s and Not-To’s of Using the Equipment”, with Steven Dietrich of Golden Horseshoe Ghost Haunts, 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. 

“Mothman – Truth, Legend and Speculation” with Robin Bellamy, Director of Torontoghosts.org, 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. 

“The Multiverse and the Paranormal” with Matthew J. Didier and Sue Darroch of Paranormal Studies and Investigations Canada (PSICAN), 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. 

“The Ghosts of Toronto” with Richard Fiennes-Clinton of Muddy York Walking Tours of Toronto, 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. 

“Faeries: A Tiny Synopsis” with Nichola Battilana of La Bona Dea: The Good Goddess, 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.

The Second Annual Paranormal Summit 2005 will provide an opportunity for ghost enthusiasts, researchers, authors, scientists, historians, and anyone who is generally interested in the subject to network and meet folks with similar interests face to face. 

A special feature to the day’s festivities is our after-hours event called, “An Evening of Spirits: Celebrating the Ghosts of the Customs House." The main theme of the evening is Haunted Hamilton’s Ghost Walk of the Customs House, celebrated beforehand with the serving of wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit and an opening ceremony to evoke and summon the spirits of the building. The Tour, led by your Ghostly Guides will prove to be interactive as guests are welcomed to conduct investigations of their own as they make their way throughout the building, from attic to basement.

The Paranormal Summit is open to the public and general exhibitor hall tickets are available at the door the day of the event for a cost of $5.00 per person. The speaker/workshop series must be pre-registered and paid for in advance by visiting the official website located at www.paranormalsummit.com. There is a limited number of tickets per seminar and it is recommended that tickets be reserved in advance. The Seminars are $10.00 each with a special package deal of $50.00 for all 6 seminars plus free admission and unlimited re-entry to the exhibitor hall.
