Friday, August 19th, 6 p.m. to Midnight and Saturday, October 1st, 6 p.m. to Midnight

LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY, USA — Come join PsyTech for a Ghost experience like no other! Guests will be dining at The Mansion at Griffin Gate, Lexington’s only 4 Diamond restaurant. Afterwards there will be a ghost hunting workshop, and then an investigation on the property. PsyTech is providing two opportunities to attend: Friday, August 19th or Saturday, October 1st. The cost for either evening will be $99 per person, and this does include your three-course dinner and a non-alcoholic beverage. This event is limited to 40 people.

The Mansion is not only one of Lexington’s most beautiful antebellum remnants, it is also the home of souls long passed. The staff often reports occurrences which are unexplained, such as keys being moved, lights going on and off, the fireplaces turning on by themselves, and sightings of a young girl on the staircase.

This special event begins at 6 p.m. and will end at Midnight. We will also be graced by a full moon that evening. Your dinner choices are:

  • Mediterranean Dry Rubbed Free-Range Chicken with a mango curry glaze, and white cheddar risotto
  • Hickory Smoked Pork Chop topped with an apricot bourbon molasses glaze and served with a white cheddar risotto cake
  • Creole Seared Snapper Served with sweet potato and turnip gratin

Check-in will be at 6 p.m. The three-course dinner will be served starting at 6:30 p.m. The history of the Mansion at Griffin Gate will be shared during dessert, and the workshop will begin afterward. Starr Chaney of PsyTech will demonstrate how to dowse for spirit energy, how to communicate with those spirits using the same dowsing rods, and how to capture the best photos and EVP. If time permits, there will also be a question and answer session. The investigation will begin after the workshop.

There are several areas in which guests will be investigating, and all are known to be active. Remember to bring your camera!

Dowsing rods will be available for purchase if you would like a pair, along with candles, and other items of interest to ghost hunters. You can also order a DVD copy of the evening’s events.

PsyTech welcomes those who have an interest in paranormal investigation to join them for what will no doubt be an exciting evening!

The last day to register and pay for the August 19th event is August 15th and the last day to register and pay for October 1st event is September 26th.
