Ghostvillage.com review

John B. Kachuba gives us an intriguing and exciting trip through ghostly Illinois. It is a journey that will hold the reader’s interest from beginning to end.

There are great scenes in this book, and the writing is sharp and accurate. The book is divided into sections: Metro Chicago, North, Central, and South. There is an afterword and Ghosthunting Travel Guide.

It is a pleasure to select a site of ghostly visitation and read of the haunting. There are so many, it is best to list a few, something to whet the reader’s appetite. Here is a sampling: “Pumpernickel’s Deli & Eatery at Bloomington,” “Peoria Public Library at Peoria,” “Vachel Lindsay Home at Springfield,” and “Ruebel Hotel at Grafton.” The accompanying photographs add to the flavor of the description.

John B. Kachuba is a fine writer, and this is a fine book. This is a topnotch look at paranormal happenings at various places in Illinois, where the ghosts are always active! The book is good reading entertainment.
