For those interested in ghosts and the paranormal, this book will be intriguing reading. Oftentimes, ghosts are connected to gemstones and certain areas containing stones used as amulets. There is much to recommend this fine book, and the research is flawless.

There is a detailed technique explained for seeing ghosts with the use of a holey stone, and in some cases, also to see mystical visions. Another detailed technique using stones is with a jasper amulet for the evocation of spirits. 

The book contains a foreword, introduction, 10 chapters, a series of six appendix entries, resources, bibliography, and index. There is an About the Author page at the conclusion of the book. A page listing the published writings of Gerina Dunwich is also included for reference.

Chapter three is an in-depth analysis of spells, rituals and charms, and Chapter four is concerned with the use and application of amulets. Chapter nine discusses cursed stones. Chapter 10 reveals the lore of gemstones. Each chapter will fascinate the reading audience, and one sure to ignite much discussion among readers is Chapter nine about elixirs and potions. 

Those interested in the curative power of gemstones will find Chapter five exciting and helpful reading. The appendix sections are sure to fascinate every reader with its in-depth look at various aspects of gemstones which includes a calendar of daily stones, correspondences, sacred gemstones, among other topics.
