This is a charming book, full of a special spiritual magick all its own! Denise Dumars is an Isian minister and priestess, and she is the co-founder of the Iseum of Isis Paedusis at Manhattan Beach, California. Dumars has been active in the Pagan community since the 1970s and teaches English at a college in Southern California.
What makes this book so unique is that there are not many daily devotionals for Wiccans and the Pagan community. Everywhere you turn you will find one on Christianity or a mainstream religion, but not until now has such a complete daily devotional for Pagans come into being, and Dumars has done a fine job.
There are also some items which will catch the reader’s attention, such as Chi Gong stretches to wake up the body, ritual bathing for purification, ways to improve personal self-esteem, talking to gods and goddesses, sample visualizations, working with chakras and astral travel, and do-it-yourself meditations.
This is a guidebook for the Pagan community, whether you are a Witch, or a Santerian, or a Druid! The book contains eight chapters. Readers should find a lot of enjoyment in reading this book, and learning from it.
