The original owner of the cabinet said it was to never be opened because it contained a dibbuk and keselim. The box made its way to the United States where it was bought in an estate sale and from there the legend took off. Trouble… paranormal trouble… has plagued people who have come in contact with the Dibbuk Box ever since.
